120 units are required to complete the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Studio Art, 42 units of which must be upper division coursework.

The BA in Studio Art provides a major for those students, who wish to develop and investigate a broad range of aesthetic, conceptual, and technical approaches.

Students may present their work for review into the BFA program after registering in at least 24 units of studio, art history and/or art and visual culture education coursework, including 15 units of foundations courses. Students must also maintain a major GPA of 3.00 or above. See BFA Candidacy Review for details.
