Art Days at U of A is an outreach and recruitment event. We invite local high school and community college teachers and their students to visit our campus during class sessions to become familiar with our programming and to see our great facilities!
In addition, there is also a weekend Portfolio Review program in which prospective students can bring their work and get an immediate admission recommendation from our faculty. It is geared toward those who will be applying to one of our School of Art programs, but anyone who would like to learn more about the School is welcome to attend.
Past events have included a program of:
- Information sessions for an overview of our programming
- Art facility tours
- UA campus, Mall-Crawls
- Tours of the UA Museum of Art and the Center for Creative Photography
- Quick advising sessions
- Portfolio building tips
- Meet-and-greets with faculty and current students
- Gallery Reception
These events are held during the fall semester.
