The University of Arizona Health Sciences’ Medical Television and Teleconferencing, a division of BioCommunication, is currently looking for student workers for the 2016 Fall semester. The student worker(s) will assist with the daily productions, live broadcasts, and technical assistance of teleconferences throughout the medical campus. Students will be taught how to direct live broadcasts using television production switchers (TriCaster & Broadcast Pix), routing and webmaster duties such as how to set up live broadcasts, maintain streaming website, maintain metadata, edit and upload videos to the webpage, iTunes, Panopto and so on. Students may be subjected to medically graphic images. Students must be able to work independently, think on their feet, troubleshoot technical problems, lift at least 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
BioCommunications assists in the instructional, research, patient care and the public service missions of The University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, Banner University Medical Center, and Banner University Medical Center South Campus. Our offices are located at Banner University Medical Center.
