For the second year in a row, Art History Professor Dr. Sarah Moore was named a National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Scholar. This summer’s seminar, “Hoover Dam and the Shaping of the American West,” is based in Boulder City, at the base of Hoover Dam, and is comprised of scholars of architecture, engineering, geography, environmental sciences, American studies, art history, and others, who will consider the Hoover Dam in the light of environmental history and the imperialist discourse of the triumph of human needs over nature. Congratulations for being selected as an NEH Summer Scholar two summers in a row!
