Congratulations to Art History Professor Sarah Moore! She has been selected as a National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Scholar for an institute on urban humanities — City/Nature — at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She will expand her research on the 1909 World’s Fair in Seattle that reckoned with the dilemma of nature as something pristine and beautiful out there and as something marketable and a driver of progress.
