Congratulations to undergraduate photography student Kennady Schneider! Schneider won the Julia Margaret Cameron Award in the Portrait category for her series, “#Black.” In this 12th edition of the Julia Margaret Cameron Award, a total of 760 photographers from 72 countries have submitted 5,800 photographs for consideration. As a category winner, Schneider will be invited to participate in the 12th Julia Margaret Cameron Collective Exhibition to be held in Barcelona next April 2019.

Schneider’s “10 for 10 at Popeye’s” (featured in this story) has also been chosen for Contemporary Portraiture with Juror Ann M. Jastrab at The Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado! The exhibition runs from February 1 – 23, 2019.
