Professor Pitt joined the UA Faculty in 1990 and teaches courses in printmaking. A member of the Boston Printmakers, she has participated in over 150 group exhibitions throughout the world, and she has had solo exhibitions in such places as the International Gallery of Contemporary Art in Anchorage, Alaska, and the Casa De La Cultura in Oaxaca, Mexico. As an artist, Pitt, a recent quadrupligic, works through a computer tablet and adobe Photoshop. Her new work is a visual diary of her experience. The work is well received and has been shown in over 40 exhibitions, many winning prizes. At the University of Arizona, she is the person primarily responsible for the Relief Printing program.
