Exhibitions
For many artists, creative expression is both a private journey and a public statement. Part of you longs to create artwork because it nourishes your own soul, and another part of you is excitedly looking forward to the day that you’ll see others enjoying your creations in a professional gallery. At the School of Art, you can gain experience working with gallery professionals as you put together your own installations, and you can celebrate the creative expressions of your fellow student artists by attending their exhibitions.
Visit the Joseph Gross Gallery, which features interdisciplinary exhibitions (hybrids of traditional and non-traditional art) from renowned U.S. and international artists. The gallery is also home to the BFA and MFA springtime exhibitions. At the Lionel Rombach Gallery, you can immerse yourself in the artwork of your fellow undergraduates or graduate students, and put your own artistic expressions on display. Learn more about the galleries.

Master of Fine Arts Exhibition
This annual exhibition showcases the work of our talented graduate students. If you enroll in our MFA in Studio Art program, you will present your body of work here during your final semester. By presenting your artwork to the public, you’ll promote arts education and spark discussions about your media and thematic approaches.

Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition
Each spring semester, our Studio and Art and Visual Culture Education (AVCE) undergraduate students have the opportunity to submit their artwork and design philosophy to the Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition. When you visit the exhibition, you’ll journey into each artist’s own unique story, and you’ll challenge your own preconceptions about interpretation of meaning. See past BFA shows.
Also each semester, we hold the BFA Capstone Illustration, Design & Animation Thesis Show. Check out past IDA shows.
