School of Art Galleries

The School of Art’s Lionel Rombach and Joseph Gross galleries aim to educate, engender interest and promote public discourse among students, staff and faculty at the University of Arizona and throughout the community. Critically engaging works by contemporary artists are regularly on view in the two galleries totaling more than 2,000 square feet of space for interdisciplinary exhibitions and programming.

Note: The galleries are not available to be booked or reserved by on- or off-campus entities, nor does the school accept cold exhibition proposals.

Joseph Gross Gallery

This gallery brings the vastness of contemporary art from outside the region to our students in the School of Art. Exhibitions here advance critical connections within students’ education, create community with artists and thinkers in the region, and proudly feature our program’s work to the outside world. The gallery is home to our annual student showcase exhibitions, including the MFA Thesis Exhibition (in collaboration with UAMA), and our juried undergraduate exhibitions.
