The Center for Creative Photography and the University of Arizona Museum of Art play an important role in the education and research opportunities available to students and faculty. Broader university entities such as the Arizona State Museum, Library Special Collections, Biosphere 2 or Tumamoc Hill likewise are just a few examples of the type of outstanding resources for interdisciplinary work only found at a top-tier comprehensive university.
The Visiting Artists & Scholars Endowment (VASE) series is a valuable resource for the University of Arizona community as well as the larger Tucson community. These national and international artists and scholars bring their own unique influences to the school through engaging lectures, exhibitions, seminars, workshops, and individual studio critiques.
