Visit the School of Art

Deciding where to go to college is a major decision, and there are many factors to consider. But in the end, it’s hard to know for sure which school is right for you until you visit the campus in person. When you explore the School of Art, you’ll be surrounded by others who share your passion for creation. You’ll see the possibilities that could lie in your future. And you’ll know in your soul that you belong in our artists’ community, where you’ll find kindred spirits who aren’t afraid to confront the important questions in life.

You’ll find the School of Art on the University of Arizona campus. The Art Building is located near Park Avenue and Speedway Boulevard at 1031 N. Olive Road. You can park at the Park Avenue Garage, which lies just to the north of Speedway Boulevard. You’ll find our administrative office in Room 247 of the Art Building.

Take a Tour

While you’re visiting our campus, you and your family can attend an information session and take a tour. Information sessions and tours are scheduled Fridays at 1 p.m. from August through May. (No information sessions and tours are held during June or July.)

All those planning to attend must make a reservation at least one week in advance. For reservations, contact Wilma Pinedo at soatours@cfa.arizona.edu or 520-621-2618. Wilma will also be happy to answer any questions you may have about our tours and information sessions.

In addition to the School of Art information sessions and tours, there are other options for in-person and virtual visits to the University of Arizona. Please click here to learn more.

While you’re here, you can fuel your passion for art by enjoying a self-guided tour of our art galleries. View traditional and non-traditional artwork, and reflect upon the statements they make about the world around us. How will your own artistic self respond?
