Reception: April 25, 3:00pm – 4:30pm
CODA showcases the work of fifteen senior photography majors produced in the
spring ‘19 ART 441: Advanced Photography capstone class. Their range of conceptual
themes encompass a broad spectrum of contemporary imaging practices–culled from
publicly accessible surveillance videos, mining a found archive of family photos from the
1960’s, negotiating personal and political self-representation that conjure up traditions
and stereotypes, issues of faith, and the power and influence of familial bonds.
