Students are invited to attend this virtual final session in our Student Development Series. Successful School of Art alums will discuss their real-life trials and triumphs. It’s much easier to learn from others’ struggles than your own!
The panel, featuring four Studio Art graduates, includes:
Brian Stauffer (BFA ’89, Graphic Design), whose award-winning illustrations in The Nation, New York Times, TIME, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Esquire, GQ and others worldwide are best known for their conceptual take on social issues.
Barbara Grygutis (BFA ’68, MFA ’71, Sculpture), an artist who has created over 75 large-scale works of public art throughout North America and is recognized internationally for her sculptural environments.
Amy Wells (BFA ’04, Ceramics), now the customer success director at True Fit Corp., a data-driven personalization software platform for footwear and apparel retailers.
John Flint (BFA ’72, Painting), former city manager of Weston, Florida, which was named one of the best small cities for small businesses and safety during his 23-year tenure.
