Symbiosis, an exhibition featuring works by Ashley Dahlke and Anna Maranise, is an investigation of perception and memory through materials and forms using abstract sculpture and painting. The show focuses on experiences with the tactile and associations we have with forms and materials. The works address ideas surrounding the familiar, and challenging perceptions of what is commonly known and understood. They investigate perception from both an internal, psychological perspective, as well as an external and societal point of view.
