Tra Bouscaren is a new media installation artist engaged with American spectacle at the intersection of waste culture and the surveillance state. Currently, he serves as Artist-in Residence at MOCA Tucson. His work has been featured at M3 Kunsthalle in Berlin, Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, Victor I Fils Gallery in Madrid, the National Museum of Art in Addis Ababa, Czong Institute for Contemporary Art in Seoul, The Wrong Biennale, Fort Mason Center for the Arts in San Francisco, Greenleaf Gallery in Los Angeles, Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center in Buffalo, and Lincoln Center in New York. His upcoming schedule includes projects with the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin, the San Diego Art Institute, MOCA Tucson, and the Mattress Factory Museum of Installation Art in Pittsburgh.
