Snapchat combines every traditional mode of communication – text, photo, video, and illustrations – into one entity. The only thing it lacks is physicality. While the digital age seems to be less personal and more fleeting, people are still grounded in their emotions and states of being. To connect people, there doesn’t need to be physical interaction or physical space. Everything is stored in our individual and collective clouds of knowledge. 473 explores what happens when these interactions are taken out of this context and made physical.
