As a nationally-ranked program, the School of Art prepares undergraduate and graduate students to be innovators and change-makers in careers in the arts and beyond. The school serves 500 majors and more than 2,300 students across campus with coursework in 2D and 3D media, photography, video, and imaging, illustration, design, and animation, art history and art and visual culture education.
The School of Art welcomes the involvement and investment of friends and alumni. Your support allows the School to do more — to offer competitive scholarships; provide state-of-the-art studio space and classrooms; present innovative exhibitions by students, faculty and visiting artists; and provide an exceptional education for our students. Fundraising Priorities
Student Success: Areas of impact include scholarships, retention strategies, student symposiums, and support for student research, travel, and professional development activities that prepare students for careers post-graduation.
Excellence in Faculty: Areas of impact include endowed professorships to recruit and retain faculty, support for direct research costs and to enable faculty to take the time necessary to expand the body of knowledge in their area of expertise and address grand challenges.
Facilities Improvements: Areas of impact include upgrades to studio spaces and equipment, and the creation of a lecture hall to expand our capabilities. Naming opportunities are available.
