Jandey Suzan Shackelford

Jandey Shackelford earned her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona School of Art in 2023. She was born and raised in Gillette, Wyoming and as a first-generation college student, she started her higher education journey at a community college, earning an Associate of Fine Arts. She then transferred to the University of Wyoming, where she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with minors in Museum Studies and Art History. During her undergraduate studies, she also had the opportunity to study abroad in Adelaide, Australia, for a year. After presenting a solo exhibition in Santa Fe, New Mexico, some of her works were acquired for permanent collections at Santa Fe Community College and Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center.
