Nicole (Nicky) Koschmann is an experienced media educator. She has over thirty years of experience teaching film production and media studies, and over ten years of experience in higher education administration coordinating and directing programs that focus on media literacy, cultural competency, and social justice. She has taught at Ithaca College, the University of Arizona, and New School University.

She earned a Master in Fine Arts degree in Film from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women Studies from Friends World College. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Education at Binghamton University and her research is on pedoagogical practices in film schools.

Nicky is an award-winning filmmaker who has screened films in festivals and art galleries worldwide.
