School of Art Facilities

School of Art Facilities

The School of Art has extensive facilities for student and faculty use, unique to each discipline. We offer well-equipped classrooms, studios and student gallery spaces that make the School of Art a vibrant place to create, study, and grow.

Studio Reservations

The School of Art is able to offer limited studio time for undergraduate students in need of space to create their work. We have implemented an online calendar system for students to reserve time in studio classrooms.

Other Facilities and Resources

The Center for Creative Photography and the University of Arizona Museum of Art play an important role in the education and research opportunities available to students and faculty. Broader university entities such as the Arizona State Museum, Library Special Collections, Biosphere 2 or Tumamoc Hill likewise are just a few examples of the type of outstanding resources for interdisciplinary work only found at a top-tier comprehensive university.

The Visiting Artists & Scholars Endowment (VASE) series is a valuable resource for the University of Arizona community as well as the larger Tucson community. These national and international artists and scholars bring their own unique influences to the school through engaging lectures, exhibitions, seminars, workshops, and individual studio critiques.
