Venue:
Marroney Theatre, 1025 N. Olive Rd.
Start Time:
5:00PM
Run Time:
2.5 hours

Share your “I wish…” and witness how quiet hopes can become something powerful, visible, and alive. Students and community members are invited into a shared space for reflection, hope, and change.

This student-led event centers the prompt “I wish…” and a screening of three short animated films and provides a space for audience participation to add their wishes to the wishing well.

About the Project

Created by JustArts Fellow Aaliyah Radebaugh, Wishing for Change, Creating Tomorrow began as a digital space where students could share their hopes without pressure, explanation, or expectation. From these submissions, three student stories were selected and transformed into animated films featured at the event. These works give new life to student voices through an accessible, shareable, and emotionally honest format—offering gentleness and possibility during a time of change on campus.

“This project is about building something together. Because even if systems change, students will always be here, and our voices should remain here too.”
